We know the mission we are on, our motivations for doing so, and our strategy to help us all stay on-mission together. Our Mission and Motivations are applications of biblical truth expressed through the unique personality of Lake Forest Church.
Simply calling our motivations “values” didn’t cut it for us. All too commonly, values have come to signify mushy, sentimental ideals for which we rarely fight. As a church, we believe that if something is worth living for, it is worth fighting for. We realize we can’t do everything—but what we, as a community, are called by God to do from a deep motivation of loving Him, we aim to do with excellence and tenacity.
